Sort of! We got over 4 inches of rain the past 48 hours followed by 3 inches of snow. Egads what a soggy mess out there! Played some early morning ring around the hay bale so the sheep had fresh hay. (We have to remove the string webbing that holds the big bales together.) It usually ends up with me trying to stay ahead of four or five scamps who like to play tag. They have taken me out like a linebacker in the past so I work hard to be faster than them. Guess I should be grateful for the mud? Slowed them down a little bit! This is our Isaac, one of our East Friesian sheep. Seems we missed a burr bush in the pasture? I love him and EF wool BUT I will not enjoy removing burrs from his beautiful fleece in the Spring. Naughty sheep!
