Spice is a beautiful Suri Alpaca we adopted from a friend when life changes required her to find good homes for her alpacas. She is such a sweetie. Her fleece is silky soft and a very striking color. It is a deep bay black and there are gray strands of hair. It also has an auburn tone. The locks average 4 to 6 inches long. She sent her fiber off to Shari with wool from our sheep. The roving is stunning. It is a dark black with brown highlights and a few gray threads. It is very soft and easy to spin. The suri gives a garment silky drape but the wool gives it more memory to hold its shape.
