Raven is one of our sweet East Friesian sheep! She arrived as a bottle lamb from my friend’s flock of happy sheep. She had some issues with her front legs but now you would not even know it. She has the blackest fleece in our flock- she is starting to go gray (aren’t we all?) but still a deep black with cinnamon tips on the locks. She sent her fleece off to Shari for carding, along with some pretty auburn alpaca fiber.

When the roving returned, Raven decided I should spin some into a 2 ply yarn. It is a beautiful, unique yarn that is a very stunning color!
