If you haven’t tried East Friesian wool, you do not know what you are missing! It is soft and bouncy- reminds me of Romney or Corriedale wool. We are lucky to have several we adopted from our friend Deb’s flock. The sheep are sweet and very laid back. Such elegant, expressive faces!

This roving is a beautiful gray East Friesian fleeces, carded by Shari at Morro Fleece Works. The sheep also sent a bit of black Shetland wool with this batch. Shari carded the wool side by side andIt is a coiled roving that is so easy to spin. It lends itself perfectly to most any project.
