Louis was one of our very first sheep- a very sweet and cuddly Rambouillet sheep. We got him as a lamb and he lived to be 10 years old. He’s been gone for a while now but I still look out expecting to see that soft wrinkly nose!

This yarn is from the wool I saved from one of his fleeces. The other sheep are giving me a hard time about my shameful stash of wool. They sent the wool to Shari for carding and when it got back home, I spun it up into a 2 ply yarn.

The sheep decided to dye the yarn Louis’ favorite color. A warm comfy blue to compliment his soft as Merino, very elastic yarn. You could use this yarn in any project!
