I have a basket near my spinning wheel for the sheep to add fiber to. The amounts vary and many fibers (wool & More) make their way into the Crazy Quilt yarns. No rhyme or reason except it is a 2 ply, soft yarn. After I spun it the sheep dyed it beautiful, cheerful shades of purple. There is a lot of yardage in the skein if you are pondering a large project.
